'Tis my favorite season

The sun shines, birds chirp, grasses sway, flowers blossom and I am one happy gal. A few weeks ago, my mother came to visit and we took an absolutely beautiful walk around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, MA. It was the first warm day we'd had in what felt like forever.
I was able to catch a few really nice shots using my iPhone 6s. On days like these, I'm thankful to have such a powerful camera in the palm of my hand. When shooting on the iPhone, I traditionally stick to a fairly simple workflow. I find myself instinctively using the iOS native Camera app for creating my captures. I'll adjust focus and exposure by using the touch screen capabilities, but try not to fuss. I'll shoot quite a few frames and quite a few angles -- you know, you never really can tell how the shots look when you're out in the bright sunlight!

For editing and post-processing, I have a few different workflows I've been trying out. I used to stick to one app, VSCO. This app gives you a lot of capabilities as far as adding filters, fine tuning, editing, color correcting, etc. I love the flexibility and ease of this app for getting the exact look I want for my photos.
Recently though, with an amazing recent gift of the 9.7" iPad Pro (thanks lovie!), I love the accessibility to Adobe Lightroom Mobile through the Creative Cloud. I can upload the photos from my shoot so quickly and post-process with the same tools and familiarity I'm used to when editing a full shoot from using the full Lightroom software on my iMac --
Side Note: if you haven't already guessed, I'm a total Apple nerd. So much so, I started working at my local Apple Store in August of 2015. I started out part-time in sales as a Red Zone Specialist but recently just got promoted to a full-time mobile technician as a Family Room Specialist, woot woot!
Anyways, I digress, I love my new iPad Pro (...and Apple Pencil!) and the new tools I have to use for my Photography. I'm really excited to get to play around and familiarize more. I'll post more work, soon!
What are some workflows that you like to use when out and about photographing? I'd love to hear what other tools, apps, methods, etc., others are enjoying!
