...so I've started a blog

For those of you who know me (even just a little bit!), know that I have a great passion for photography and want to pursue it as a career. Lifestyle, people, travel, events- I really enjoy the many facets, it's ever-changing and so exciting.

Today, it seems like everyone wants to be a photographer. iPhone photography, budget-friendly DSLRs, and #nofilter allows everyone to produce fantastic images-- which is amazing! I love seeing and being inspired by the constant flood on my Instagram and Tumblr feed.

But how can (aspiring) professionals separate themselves from those trying to gain likes and followers? Start a blog! I thought. But what do I have to say? Why would anyone care? Well, I guess that's what we're here to find out. I'm here to post my work, provide insight to my methods and techniques, talk about what inspires me, ramble on about the method to my madness-- you know, the usual blog content.

I hope to keep it light, original, maybe thought-provoking once in a while, but overall fun! Photography, like anything else that provides passion in your life, should be fun, and it certainly is for me. So that's it... I've started a blog. Here goes nothing!
